Biography
Undergrad student in B SC. (Natural Resource Conservation : Global Perspective) – University of British Columbia
Research Interests
I seek to pursue research projects that take on multidisciplinary lens. I am interested in the intersection between environmental and social justice issues and trying to better understand trade-offs between conservation/sustainability and empowering livelihoods. Global inequalities should not be ignored when making sustainable development goals and future climate change planning.
Currently, I am an undergrad research assistant helping with the lab’s new “Food and Landscape Diversity” project. It will examines the direct and indirect roles forests play in human nutrition and dietary diversity. In my previous experience, I have worked an Ecological Economics projects as well as researched the success and failures of diverse cap and trade programs around the globe.
