Research Interests

I am interested in urban landscape ecology and urban forestry. I am studying how the urbanization impacts the urban landscape and ecosystem. As a member of both Landscape Ecology Lab and Urban Forest Research Centre of SFA (State Forestry Administration, P.R.C), I am collaborating with Integrated Remote Sensing Studio (IRSS) and working on using Landsat images to map the distribution, quantity, quality and effectiveness of urban greenspace in Pan-Pacific cities over time and space. My work focuses on analyzing the relationship between greenspace and urban development, as well as find out the socio-economic factors affecting the greenspace.
