Research Interests

My interests in local and global agro-ecosystems, social justice, and the importance of place and space have led me on a winding path towards using geospatial tools and analyses of agro-forestry ecosystems.

My research in the Landscape Ecology Lab will primarily be continuing studies on the complex relationships between forest cover and structure and diet diversity. Through this work, I hope to contribute to informed and progressive land use and agricultural policies that seek to balance the socio- and ecological needs and services of a growing population and a changing climate.
